Restaurateur Peter Poulakakos's latest venture, Vintry, combines his family’s passion for wine collecting with the warm environment of a speakeasy. Vintry's deep and extensive wine list showcases boutique growers and producers from the most prestigious Old World regions, with a focus on Burgundies. Executive Chef Joseph Mallol delivers a menu of tapas-style small plates featuring seasonal ingredients to complement the vast array of global wines and whiskys.
The New York Times heralded this speakeasy as "a house of worship for grape & grain" and went on to say that "Vintry trades exclusively in small artisan producers of whiskey and wine; all of the mixed drinks on the cocktail list have a whiskey base."
