Time to Celebrate? Here’s where to go!

It’s almost the weekend and there’s a lot celebrate. We’re so happy and excited to be bringing better dining experiences to Boston, Los Angeles and New York. As if that wasn’t enough reason to celebrate, today marks a number of fun food holidays and is our 10-day birthday!


We’ll be pouring ourselves a pint this afternoon for National Stout Day. Stouts pair well with hearty fare like burgers or dishes that have a note of chocolate or coffee. We’re big fans of The Merchant in Boston, where you can pick from more than 60 craft brews to pair with their terrific All Natural Burger with housemade bacon. And of course, we’re happy to help get you a table.


Or, if you’re planning on honoring National Nachos Day instead, check out the exceptional Pig Ear Nachos at Petty Cash Taqueria in LA. Topped with crispy strips of pig ears and a soft egg, they’re the perfect way to celebrate. If you’re trying to keep things on the lighter side, try the Roasted Cauliflower Nachos, which have a touch of crispy kale for another layer of crunch.


If you’re not a big fan of either holiday but are just looking for a lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of New York, look no further than Meadowsweet. Light and airy, Meadowsweet’s indoor hanging garden will make you feel like it’s spring again even though the weather outside might disagree. Herbs from the garden are used as part of the cocktail program, and we recommend the Friend of the Devil, a tequila-based cocktail with cilantro, lime and habanero, which has just enough heat to keep you warm on a cold Brooklyn day. (And after all, it is National Pepper Month.)
