Spring Tasting Menus, Wine Parties, and Holiday Happenings in Boston

All over New England, in kitchens and bars, people are rejoicing. Spring is coming, which means a whole new crop of seasonal ingredients are being dug up to brighten menus. As the weather starts to improve, we’ve got some great events to look forward to as well!

Here are the spring happenings you won’t want to miss:

TONIGHT: Wednesday, March 25th - Meet the Farmer Dinner at Journeyman (Somerville)

The team at Journeyman welcomes Drew Alinovich of Royalton Farms for a tasting menu featuring Mangalitsa pork and Wagyu beef fresh from the farm. Tickets are $95 per person, and the 7-course tasting starts at 7:00pm. Book through Reserve and enjoy $25 off.

 

Saturday, March 28th - By The Glass Wine Events at Island Creek Oyster Bar (Kenmore) & more!

Wednesday, April 1st - Dogfish Head Dinner at Study (Cambridge)

Study has teamed up with Dogfish Head brewery to offer a 4-course tasting menu with beer pairings. Dogfish Head is brewing “Off-Centered Ales For Off-Centered People,” so you can expect some creative food to match. Tickets are $75 per person including beer pairings. Friday, April 3rd to Saturday, April 11th - Passover at Craigie on Main (Cambridge)

Chef Tony Maws celebrates Passover at Craigie on Main with creative riffs on some of his favorite Sephardic and Ashkenazi traditional foods like Moroccan Spiced Gravlax, Matzo Meal Lasagnette and Schmaltz Poached Dayboat Halibut. Read more here.

 

Sunday, April 5th - Easter Brunch - Celebrate with Reserve!

Sunday, April 12th - Lamb Jam at The Royal Sonesta Hotel

Join chefs Matt Jennings of Townsman, Daniel Bojorquez of La Brasa and many more at this year’s Boston Lamb Jam! Learn the art of grilling lamb from Chef Jennings and Chef Jamie Bissonnette of Toro at 1pm or join for the main event, the lamb cook off, at 3pm. Register here.

Saturday, April 18th - Farm To Glass Mixology Throwdown at the W Boston Hotel
