SF's Best Spots for a Late Night Reservation

If you’re the type of person who likes to eat late, we’ve got some great recommendations for you. Below you’ll find the Reserve team’s picks for your best after-hours options in SF.

AATXE (CASTRO)

Aatxe's menu draws inspiration from the Basque tapas culture, utilizing traditional Spanish cooking techniques and presentation. Feel like having a gin cocktail and some tapas? Grab a couple of friends and a late night table at Aatxe. The restaurant accepts reservations until midnight on weekends. LAST WEEKEND RESERVATION — 12:00am

ALTA CA (MID MARKET)

Alta CA is a bustling restaurant with European-influenced American food and craft drinks with small plates featured on the menu until 2am. Its expansive, late-night menu begins at 10:30pm and features smoked pork trotter, seasonal veggie dishes and its classic burger. LAST WEEKEND RESERVATION — 11:30pm

MONSIEUR BENJAMIN (HAYES VALLEY)

Monsieur Benjamin is a modern restaurant inspired by Parisian bistro culture and French culinary traditions, open until midnight during the week and until 2:30am on weekends. The varied menu offers small and large plates with wines, beers, cocktails and spirits composing the extensive drink list. LAST WEEKEND RESERVATION — 11:45pm

LA URBANA (NOPA)

La Urbana is a vibrant restaurant and bar serving locally informed, modern Mexican fare. If you want to grab food after a concert at The Independent, cross the street to La Urbana where you can grab its famous ceviche and mezcal cocktails until midnight on weekends. LAST WEEKEND RESERVATION — 11:30pm

THE VIKING ROOM AT CAFE DU NORD (CASTRO)

Cafe du Nord has been serving San Francisco (almost) continuously since 1907. Reopened after restoration in the summer of 2015 by The Bon Vivants and Ne Timeas Restaurant Group, it's once again providing San Franciscans with good food, good drinks and good times. Cafe du Nord remains open until 2am, serving its full menu until 1:30am. The best part? After midnight, champagne and oysters are half-price. LAST WEEKEND RESERVATION — 12:00am

DOSA (JAPANTOWN, MISSION)

Dosa is a South Indian restaurant specializing in spice-infused cocktails and innovative, boldly flavored dishes crafted from seasonal, organic and sustainable ingredients. Check out either Dosa location for its famous namesake item, delicious Chennai chicken and awesome cocktails until midnight on the weekends. LAST WEEKEND RESERVATION — 11:30pm
