SF Cocktails Perfect for Seasons Greetings

Celebrate the holidays with a glass of bubbly, festive cocktail or exceptional bottle of wine at one of Reserve’s favorite SF spots. Looking for a non-alcoholic option? We’ve got you covered there too, making sure nothing stops you from ringing in the New Year in style.

CHAMPAGNE TOASTS (JARDINIERE - HAYES VALLEY)

Chef/Owner Traci Des Jardin serves French-California fare made from sustainable and local ingredients at Jardinière, set in a landmark building in Hayes Valley. The pre-theater destination features a multi-course tasting menu, and handmade cocktails and small bites can be enjoyed in the cocktail lounge. The vast wine list includes many international selections and features some excellent champagne, just the thing to celebrate the season.

CRAFT COCKTAILS (DIRTY HABIT - SOMA)

On the fifth floor of Hotel Zelos is Dirty Habit, a bar-centric eatery with shareable, seasonal New American cuisine, bar bites and a creative beverage menu with an emphasis on rare brown spirits. The inventive beverage program also features communal cocktails, house creations crafted with unexpected ingredients and a carefully curated selection of more than 300 global spirits and whiskeys. The film noir-inspired design of the SoMa district destination features a deck lounge with a modern fire pit.

EXCEPTIONAL WINE (SPRUCE - PRESIDIO HEIGHTS)

Spruce is a Michelin-starred New American restaurant with a multi-course tasting menu and seasonal fare sourced from local purveyors. The progressive beverage program includes classic, handcrafted cocktails, along with a wine list composed of over 2500 selections. Rotating art hangs on the walls of the dining room, which also includes chocolate mohair walls, faux ostrich chairs and a white marble bar — all rendering it as glamorous as it is sophisticated.

INVENTIVE SOFT DRINK (FOG CITY - EMBARCADERO)

Fog City is a historic destination for locally inspired New American cuisine and cocktails. Along with the restaurant’s co-founders, Chef Bruce Hill has reimagined the former Fog City Diner to craft a classic, innovative menu in a modern and sleek setting. The marble wraparound bar is the perfect place to enjoy a selection from the drink list, while the windows offer bay views from any seat.

Happy dining,
Michelle Manning, Reserve SF
