Reserve appoints Amazon veteran Michael Wesner as COO
We're thrilled to announce we've hired Michael Wesner, a former Leader at Amazon Restaurants, as our Chief Operating Officer to help accelerate Reserve's growth and adoption of industry-best table management solution by restaurant partners.
Michael, who will be based in New York and report to CEO Greg Hong, will focus on accelerating Reserve’s growth with restaurant partners across the United States. Michael will also oversee our sales, marketing, and restaurant success teams, and help us scale as Reserve moves into new cities.
Michael joins Reserve from Amazon, where he was most recently Head of Sales and Sales Operations for Amazon Restaurants. During his time at Amazon, Michael gained a wealth of experience working with restaurants and other small businesses, and was instrumental in growing the business and driving the expansion strategy since its launch in 2015. Additionally, he oversaw the Sales, Onboarding, Account Management, and Expansion teams responsible for owning the complete restaurant experience for the business.

Prior to Amazon Restaurants, Michael was Head of East Coast Sales and Operations at Amazon Local, where he launched and scaled teams in both New York City and Boston. In addition to his time at Amazon, Michael held previous leadership roles as Regional Vice President at BuyWithMe and Ask.com/IAC. "I was attracted to Reserve's vision to build an industry leading experience connecting customers and restaurants across the country and excited by the team that’s driving the company’s growth,” said Michael. “I believe in putting restaurants first, listening to their needs, and ultimately innovating with them and Reserve is the premier hospitality technology platform to do that.
