Cocktails and Bites: Reserve Spreads Holiday Cheer at Bad Hunter in Chicago

To kick off 2017's holiday revelry, Reserve gathered its most loyal users, top influencers, local concierge, and restaurateurs from Bad Hunter, Quiubo, Mindy's HotChocolate, and more for a night of cocktails and bites at The Herbarium at Bad Hunter.

In many ways, Bad Hunter, a seasonal veg-forward restaurant and one of Chicago's hottest openings of the past year, was the perfect representation of the city's exciting culinary boom. Natural light and beautiful downtown views from the top floor of the bi-level space set the tone for Reserve's second of a series of gatherings across the country, bringing together restaurants with the diners, hotels, and tech that support their local food and drink culture.

Guests nibbled on salmon ceviche from Bien Trucha's Quiubo, charcuterie from Eataly, yellow lentil and turmeric fritters with bontio flakes from Bad Hunter, and assorted cookie bags from Mindy's HotChocolate.

But the highlight of the night may have been the drinks. Known for its libations as much as its food, Bad Hunter poured out specialty cocktails, craft beer, bubbly, and wine. The most popular? The stunning pink "Low & Slow Cosmo," made with sipsmith sloe gin, strawberry, cappelletti, campari, lime, and clement creole shrub. Dare we say, a healthy cocktails?!
