Reserve, Fat Rice, and Island Creek Partner to Celebrate James Beard Awards

Together with Reserve, Forteleza Tequila, and Island Creek Oysters, chef Abe Conlon and Fat Rice hosted a James Beard Foundation Awards Aftermath Brunch at Fat Rice, the Ladies Room at Fat Rice, and the Bakery at Fat Rice.

This was an especially celebratory morning, since Abe won the JBFA for Best Chef: Great Lakes the night before!

The event was hosted by:

  • Abe Conlon and Adrienne Lo, Fat Rice
  • Reserve
  • Island Creek Oysters
  • Fortaleza Tequila

The aftermath showcased the talents of all the involved partners, creating a perfect brunch storm (and a much needed, morning after JBFA meal):

  • Oysters and caviar supplied by Island Creek
  • Bloody Marias and tequila mimosas from Forteleza Tequila
  • Fat Rice Blend Coffee from Sparrow Coffee
  • Pork and ginger dumplings; oyster omelette; peanut butter curry french toast; Macau rice crisp; ceylon snickerdoodle; miso fudge brownie from Fat Rice
