Fresh Fall Eats in Philadelphia

Fall is on the way and you deserve to celebrate the beginning of cooler weather in the most delicious way, by dining out at an amazing restaurant. Looking for the perfect dish to enjoy on a crisp fall evening? Let Reserve help you fall into food at one of these great spots!

Vernick Food & Drink is a New American eatery serving Chef/Owner Greg Vernick’s large and small plates. The drink list spotlights classic, current and seasonal cocktails — this fall try their seasonal twist on a Pisco Sour featuring Concord grapes. Situated inside a Rittenhouse brownstone, the former bookstore setting is the perfect place to spend a cozy fall evening.

Inspired by the cuisine of the Jewish diaspora, Abe Fisher serves up small plates and prix fixe, family-style meals. New for the fall season are the charred green beans with girbiche almonds, egg and smoked paprika, as well as the beef carpaccio with bitterballen, horseradish and watercress. To help warm you up as the weather cools down, try one of the notable bar program’s unique cocktails or the locally sourced wines and beers.

Zahav is home to a small plates menu inspired by modern Israeli flavors, including their must try hummus. But for fall, Chef Michael Solomonov and his team have updated the menu with a few new items, such as a fried okra small plate and a luscious grilled Halloumi cheese dish served with peach, pickled mango, corn and pecan.

So enjoy the changing of the seasons by using Reserve to dine at any one of these incredible restaurants this week.

Happy dining,
Reserve Philadelphia
