Celebration season is in full swing! While all those festive office parties and house fêtes promise to be tons of fun, we figured it couldn’t hurt to keep a shortlist of where to go (and what to drink) when you’re looking to ring in the holidays at a great restaurant. Time to raise a glass — these drinks are sure to keep you in good spirits!

BACKBAR - The Montpelier (Boston)

Celebrate the changing of the seasons with this sunset-colored, Vermont-inspired cocktail of amaro, whisky and smoked maple syrup.

Tucked down an alley behind unmarked doors, backbar is where craft meets invention. The bartenders are among the most creative Boston and mix classic Manhattans with familiar ingredients as easily as futuristic cocktails featuring exotic foams and fruits.

DIRTY HABIT - Buffalo Soldier (San Francisco)

One of our favorites from among the many refreshing options — Buffalo Trace bourbon, Alesso Chinato vermouth, Herbsaint, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, brown sugar, bitter orange, liquorice, green anise and cinnamon.

A two-story eatery, Preux & Proper dishes out Cajun, New Orleans-inspired fare. The restaurant features a bustling frozen daiquiri bar downstairs, a raw bar upstairs and an open-air patio for alfresco dining. Aside from its frozen drink selection — an ode to life on Bourbon Street — a long list of wines, beers and craft cocktails are available.

THE BRISTOL - Poire & Elderflower (Chicago)

Grey Goose La Poire (pear), St. Germain elderflower liqueur, white grape juice and lemon sour make this sipper the perfect accompaniment to lunch with friends.

The Bristol is a New American gastropub that highlights familiar and comforting dishes, handcrafted cocktails and a curated wine list in a rustic space. An airy dining room filled with communal tables and exposed brick provides the perfect backdrop in which to enjoy the seasonally inspired cuisine, inventive cocktails, international wines and domestic beers.

THE HUNGRY CAT - Greyhound Proper (Los Angeles)

A slight twist on a classic cocktail, this one’s sweet-bitter balance comes from a mix of Plymouth gin, grapefruit juice and candied grapefruit.
